I believe our greatest healing emerges out of our deepest challenges and struggles. My passion is to support people in developing awareness and compassion for self and others. I am dedicated to guiding clients in responding skillfully to life’s challenges rather than reacting to them. My goal is to help others live with a greater awareness of the possibilities within themselves. I bring 20+ years of experience to my work with children, adolescents, families and adults in supporting them in developing tools to manage the “ups and downs” of life. I am committed to bringing the practice of mindfulness to others as a way to deepen their ability to cope with internal and external obstacles. My specialties are mindfulness and self-compassion. Many of us engage in negative self-talk which becomes an obstacle to healing. I have expertise in teaching and nurturing others in developing self-kindness, as well as growing from difficult experiences. As a meditator and mindfulness practitioner, I have personally experienced the benefits of these practices in dealing with the challenges of life, and in particular as an adoptive parent. My own challenges in parenting deepen my respect and compassion for my clients and their unique struggles.
