Bilberry has it…The Eyes Need it

Bilberry (Leaves)*

There are several herbs that are good for your eyes; but the one most beneficial is Bilberry. This herb is also known as blaeberry. It is chock full of eye nutrition; manganese, phosphorus, iron, and zinc. It contains moderate amounts of magnesium, potassium, and selenium. And it contains trace amounts of calcium, sodium, and silicon.

Specifically, bilberry rebuilds retina purple pigments in the eyes; used effectively for treatment of night vision and light sensitivity; very beneficial as a nutritive herb for the eyes as it is rich in manganese which improves eyesight. People who have used bilberry have noticed improvement in night blindness after taking bilberry for a few months.

Ailments the bilberry helps to treat: eyes, immune system, blood vessels, kidney problems, light sensitivity, night blindness, and varicose veins.

I personally have tried bilberry. And, although I do not have night blindness, I have noticed an improvement in my own night vision. But, as you can see, there are other great benefits to including bilberry in your supplement list. Try it for yourself and you be the judge…
